To help drivers to maintain peace of mind safety and comfortable driving, when following a vehicle ahead, the technology allow driver to maintain the following distance and speed when driving in the cruise control mode.
When backing out of a parking space, Rear Cross Traffic Alert can detect and warn driver of vehicles behind the vehicle that are approaching from either side.
The sensor installed to the front of the vehicle monitors the relative velocity and the distance to the vehicle directly ahead, as well as a vehicle traveling in front of the preceding one. The system is able to detect changes in the situation that are outside the driver’s field of view, and give alert to the driver with signal on display, audible warning if a potential risk is detected.
This technology detects potential forward obstacles and assists drivers in avoiding collisions with vehicles and pedestrians, as well as reducing damage caused by collisions. When the system detects danger of collision with a vehicle or pedestrians ahead, it warns the driver with audible and visual warnings by IFCW, urging the driver to take action to avoid the danger. If the driver fails to decelerate, it will apply an emergency brake and decelerate to either help avoid a collision, or reduce the damage caused by a collision should one be unavoidable.
This system warns drivers with audio and visual signals on the dashboard when the car is unintentionally drifting out of a lane. The system activates at speeds over 70 km/h.
The system recognizes when another vehicle is traveling in the driver’s blind spot and signals its presence using indicator lights. These indicators are found on either side view mirror on the A-pillar. The driver is alerted to other vehicles by flashing indicators and audio alerts.
This system gives drivers a complete view of all angles around the vehicle to easily navigate through tight areas. This is possible through a camera mounted above the vehicle, helping drivers move or park in the small area with confidence.
The Moving Object Detection (MOD) monitors and alerts the driver to any moving objects or people. The system uses cameras to detect moving objects when parking or slowly maneuvering. It also provides visual and audio alerts to the driver. The four-camera system can alert drivers in three scenarios: while parked or in neutral; moving forward, and backing up.
