The new Nissan Navara comes with a suite of advanced Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, which provides superior levels of safety, comfort and convenience. While enabling customers to feel confident in using their vehicle for both work and play. These include:
This technology uses a radar sensor located in the front of the vehicle to detect the distances between the two cars ahead, as well as their relative speed. And provides an audible signal with warning signs on the dial if there is a risk of a frontal collision.
The system works in conjunction with Intelligent Forward Collision Warning technology, via a front-mounted camera installed in the upper-portion of the windshield to detect both vehicles and pedestrians. If there is a detected risk of collision, the system slows or stops the vehicle to reduce the severity of damage caused by an accident.
Working in combination with Blind Spot Warning (BSW), this assists the driver to help avoid collisions during lane changes, by detecting vehicles in blind spots. When the system detects a vehicle driving in an adjacent lane approaching the rear of the driver’s vehicle - a common blind spot, it notifies the driver with indicator lights. If the driver then begins to change lanes, the system alerts the driver with a chime and continuously flashes indicator lights while applying a slight braking force to help return the vehicle to its original lane.
Works in conjunction with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), by assisting drivers to prevent lane departure. The system automatically activates when the driving speed is over 70 km /h If there is a risk of leaving a driving lane, the system displays an alert on the dashboard and plays a warning chime. The system further assists drivers to avoid leaving a driving lane by applying the brakes. Moreover, if drivers keep going outside a driving lane without the turn signal, the technology will send a mild braking force to pull the vehicle back into the driving lane.
When putting the truck in reverse, the system warns drivers when it detects an approaching vehicle, on either side. The system then sends a warning signal with flashing lights on the same side as the approaching car.
This intelligent technology allows drivers to see the area around the vehicle through four cameras around the car, where all cameras capture an image in real-time. Images are displayed from a high angle through the radio screen that makes driving in various situations easier. The new Navara also newly features an Around View Monitor with Off-Road Meter system to view while driving forward in 4L * mode. This works with Moving Object Detection (MOD) technology, which detects and sends an alarm when it senses a pedestrian or object around the car, then relays the information on the center panel screen, further enhancing safety, and driving confidence.
Hill Start Assist technology prevents the car from sliding on hills from a standing start, while Hill Descent Control technology prevents the vehicle from skidding when driving down steep slopes by using the engine to slow speed, without using the brakes.

The Traction Control (TCS) system helps control the wheels by gradually turning them to prevent free-wheel spin. It comes with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system that steadies the vehicle's stability while making sudden turns, supported by the Trailer Sway Assist (TSA) system when pulling additional loads.
Anti-lock Braking System - ABS, Electric Brake Force Distribution System - EBD, Brake Assist - BA, Electric Parking Brake, Auto Brake Hold, and third brake light with LED lights, all provide added safety when driving.
This consists of a combination of two front two left and right curtain and side airbags as well as another position at the driver's knees. The front airbags are standard installed on all models.
The front seat belts can be adjusted according to the body size of each passenger.
